Well, I don't know about the Gulf Tiidas but here in the USA all the Versas are assembled in Aguascalientes Mexico and the only difference that I have found between the two are that here in USA they are called Versa and in Mexico they are called Tiida, and some Tiidas in Mexico are offered with the 1.5L engine.
