I bought my Versa back in March, its a 2012 1.8 manual hatchback s trim (Fresh Powder white).
Grew up in PA, joined the Airforce, moved to Texas and now Colorado.
So far i've only done a simple light mod to my V, the wiring diagram is in my pics.
I joined the forum to see what others are doing to theirs and largely to keep updated on the Supercharger for the MR16DE and MR18DE, i cant wait, i definitely want one. I know a little bit of electronics, nothing crazy, but i'll do my best to help anyone in that area. I know basics of cars, i'm not a mechanic or anything. That's pretty much it. :)

GL. Good color. Also, engines are HR16de and MR18de. HR engines have superchargers MRs don't. Real expensive to mod concentrate on simple performance mods like exhaust. Lower springs but not too low.Home Depot bumper lip, tint. Saw a bib on a V today.

.. also one of the members put rim rings on the steelies and chrome lug nuts from o'reilly if i remember. looked pretty good and a cheap way to make the v............sing.

Custom grille for my 2012 Versa Hatch

I really didn't like the way the stock grille looked and i noticed that the older year Versas had the hood latch support showing on some of the grilles so i decided to make my own grille that shows the hood latch support and still protects the internals.

i took the stock grille, cut the plastic part of the grille out (mainly just because the black plastic part of the stock grille and the mounts for the grille are all one piece).
After cutting the center out i got expanded metal, spent a while cutting it to the exact size and then painted it black and reassembled the whole thing.

This is EXACTLY the type of thing I've been trying to find a photo of on the forums! Thanks for sharing the process you went through too.
