Anyone know if you can tell which factory your Versa came from based on something in the VIN number? If so what is it? :thumb2:

the first three digits tell you the country it was built in but not the exact plant.

I'm guessing it came from Aguacalientes or Cuernavaca in Mejico

I'm impressed but how did you get 44mpg without hypemile? I got 35 on the way back forth to work. I normally get around 32-33 but I don't drive highway too often. Mostly just cruise along at 40mph and have a short drive to work.

As suspected.. mine was made in Mejico (starts with 3N1). Time to celebrate with a Burrito Jalisco!! Thanks for the info!

ALL Versas are made in Aguascalientes. Tiida is either Aguascalientes, Oppama Japan, or China (can't remember which city it is in).
