short shifter would be a plus! but it would be good to see anything come out.

What I want to know is why we don't have a short throw shifter yet!? I see the 1.8L has one, but no love for the 1.6L yet. I feel like a short throw shifter kit could really help change how the car shifts and help make changing into 5th gear a bit shorter.

Also do we have OEM window visors yet? I believe AVS makes them, but I would rather buy them from Nissan or a better company.

With so many new members buying the Versa/Note and plenty of people going for the manual, I really hope enough of us make some noise to get manufacturers interested. I would think with so many people buying the Versa every month we would have enough people interested in parts such as a short throw shifter. I shall keep praying for one.

Scott, I'm guessing the window visors on your site for the Versa would not fit on the Note, correct?

What's wrong with the stock shifter? It's literally perfect, it sits at the perfect height, the throws don't affect driveability or spirited driving (even then if you have a mostly stock 1.8 or 1.6, the throw of the shifter is the least of your worries).

I like my Versa, with what i've done to mine, it looks essentially like a butch Mazdaspeed 3, with way more room. That's what i'd like to compare to, if it was as fast as a Mazdaspeed 3, that'd be great. But, i'm doing the swap soon, after i pay my rent and after next paycheck.

Nothing is wrong with it. It isn't the best shifter I have ever used, but it does the job just fine. However, if the option of a short throw shifter comes I will buy it just because I feel I would enjoy it a bit more then the stock one.
