yeah thats how mine is. I have 90 days from the installer, and 1 year from omega. they even pay for the uninstall and install if it becomes defective. But if nissan said something to me like that. I tell ya what. Id go back to the installer and pay him to take it out. And go back to the dealership, and be like "what now?" Cause they only tapped into my wires, he didnt cut them.If you get a remote start/alarm professionally installed, there shouldn't be any manufacturer warranty problems since you didn't work on it yourself. The installer would have some short term warranty, maybe a year and possibly pay more for longer.
