Anybody know if Hankook makes good winter tires? I checked these out, kind of pricey though $72 bucks a piece. They're Hankook Winter iPike W409 Studded http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/fi...yr=2008&pc=11211&cf=false&vid=012591&sw=false

Either that or the Yokohama Ice Guard IG20 for $83 each....

Reason why I'm looking is because I made a left turn going uphill to a bridge and my rear end drifted and was spinning out this morning on my way to work. Need to keep myself assured from ever doing that again.

I have HANKOOK winter tires.
Usually my dad purchases Nordic winter tires, but they were all out last year, so i went with Hankook, and they were just as good if not better. They are a super soft tire, which is apparently good for winter driving. I never got stuck once, and I found they really helped out, even on rainy days.

This is a close up of the tires the day they were mounted last November. That was the first season of using them on the Versa.
Hopefully I will be mounting them on this week :)

P.S. Don't mind the dirty car. Last year the place I work at was under construction, so my car was always dirty, and I didn't have time to wash her before getting the tires on.
