I have the 2022 Nissan Versa, Almera in our country. I need to replace my tires soon and planning to do some up-sizing. The current size of the tire is 195/65/r15 and I plan to change to 205/65r15. Will there be any issues with this up-sizing besides the Speedometer?
I watched in YouTube and the 205 is within the 3% limit in increasing the diameter. The 205 size is only 2% increase. Also, someone used the same 205 size to a older version of Nissan Versa which used to have 185/65r15. Hoping for your advice. Thank you.

Hi, Thank you for your inputs. I would like to use wider tires as I already felt the rear of the car slipped during a curve on a wet road. A wider tire gives more traction and may help prevent the slip. Having the 205 size has an 8.1" width which is acceptable but Nissan is concern on the increase of diameter of 2% or half an inch of the 205 size. Nissan suggested to upgrade to 205/55r16 which is more costly and does not improve gas mileage as it is less that 25 inch diameter.
Current tire I'm using is a Bridgestone Ecopia EP150.
