Need advice about a torn inner CV Boot?

The Driver's side INNER CV Joint Boot is torn on my 2015 Note. I have searched in vain and can not find an INNER split boot kit....anywhere! A good amount of grease already spit out and since its getting cold I'm trying to avoid putting in a rebuilt Drive Shaft...I'm a warm weather mechanic...(yes I know there pretty cheap, $45~$75 at Rock) I only did one on my old PT Cruiser...Is it relatively easy or tough job? Has any one out there had the same predicament? What is the difference between the Outer Split Boot (there are plenty of them available, Dorman's, Speedi-Boot and some Brand X's)
and an INNER? can I use an Outer Split Boot in an emergency on the Inboard side? I would appreciate any good input from anyone whose been there. Thanks...

I've not replaced a CV joint on my Versa, so I can't speak to that DIY repair. But if your inner boot had damage severe enough to loose most of the grease from the c/v joint, it's better to replace the entire driveshaft with a fresh sealed inner boot.

I just replaced both of mine several days ago.
I was in luck, bought two from a part retailer and does not fit.
I picked up another two at Oreilly, cheap but it fit perfect. Go get yourself two axle seal-output shaft seal from the dealer if you are going to change the whole shaft.
Dont bother with those CV boot kit, may as wheel change the whole axle.
