i have a manual, but the engine that the car came out of was auto. all that needed to be swapped was the "thrust bearing"

Really? That's good to know. I heard they had to re map the ecu or something stupid causemost of them ar cvt and that what the engine response to.idk something stupid I heard. Now you do know that some parts for the mr18 will fit the mr20 like headers I believe one guy did.are you planning to mod it any?

mod the MR20? i already have an AEM intake, and DC exhaust from the MR18. I plan on putting on the DC Header when they release it. the MR20 and MR18 are the same, just slightly diff internals

pulled the engine from the top.

i don't think the front bumper or radiator were removed. not sure, i wasn't there during the process. but I don't think it was

Saw this thread kinda late, but that's awesome man! I've always loved the body on the Versa, but always lacked torque. I bet your V pulls hard now huh? Someone should look into swapping the 2.5 SE-R into the Versa :driving:

How hard would it be to swap a MR20DE CVT into my 1.8 Auto?
I like my automatics, I need most of my attention to where I am and where Im going because I deliver in this car. So having a CVT saving on the fuel on a 2L with the upgrade in power would just be Sweet.

would the computers play nice with each other?

and they have a turbo kit out for the 2.5....well teh QR25( i think thats the motor)

same here....but i think im gonna give my V to my Fiancée when she grads from nursing school and were married. she said that would be fine with her and id get my dream F-250 Turbo Diesel!
